I arrived with no expectation of what an adventure company run experience would be like. I knew my family/work/life balance was out of wack and needed rebalancing.
There was a level of uncertainty in booking as I normally plan solo vacations.
I arrived late after 10 and while looking for a codes of entry was greeted by one of the nicest guys you can meet, he showed me to my room and offered to help me with my things. He was on vacation himself but squinched my anxiety levels to neutral with his kindness.
Next day I met the rest of the vacationers all from different paths and backgrounds with a share of love for wind adventures. I did not have the milage on the sport that the rest of the gang had but were very sincere and encouraging to me and everyone as the sport and experience varied.
I enjoyed the house environment with stimulating conversations, tips on the water and sense of family. My stay was beyond any of my expectations. I came in to rebalance and get reacquainted with kiteboarding and left with more.
Craig the owner adventure travel company is one of the nicest guys you can meet. I have been to OBX many of times but never stayed on the water that you can simply walk out and kite for miles. House so scenic it was magical watching sun sets. I wish him much success and as for me I will definitely be a returning!!
